Prior to RaySecur, Alex founded FST, an MIT spin-out focused on advanced sensors, which was acquired by NYSE: CTS. He holds 12+ patents and has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers. Alex received his B.S. from Kansas State University and his S.M. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

Mark Sullivan

Mark Sullivan served as the 22nd Director of the United States Secret Service. His career as a Federal Law Enforcement Agent spans nearly 35 years. Mr. Sullivan currently serves on several Boards of Directors and security advisory boards for several public and private corporations.

Since launching the world's first desktop scanners to safely see inside of everyday items, we've changed the paradigm, providing the ability to see hidden threats and defects before they become a problem.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Designation

The DHS has designated MailSecur as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT) under the Safety Act. It is the first desktop terahertz screening system to be Designated.

Following 9/11, the SAFETY (Support Anti-Terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies) Act was created by Congress in 2002 to encourage the creation of anti-terrorism products and services. The Act protects sellers of QATTs — and the companies that buy and use them — with liability limitations in U.S. courts in the case of a terrorist attack.

QATT Designation status means DHS has validated that MailSecur:

Provides substantial utility and effectiveness.

Has been proven effective through both scientific studies and in use.

Is safe and effective as a defense against acts of terrorism.

Should an act of terrorism occur in the future, our customers and resellers will benefit from the protection that RaySecur receives from the SAFETY Act, and their liability exposure would be essentially eliminated in any lawsuit claiming that our MailSecur technology failed to prevent the attack.
