Bomb disposal experts were called to North Wales Police headquarters after the force received a suspicious package.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team went to the HQ in Colwyn Bay this afternoon amid concerns about the package, which was delivered this morning.
But the delivery was found to be harmless.
Superintendent Neil Thomas said: “I’d like to thank our colleagues in EOD for their prompt attendance and efficient and professional management of the incident.
“I’m glad to say all has returned to normality with minimal disruption to business.”
The headquarters was not evacuated during the operation.
North Wales Police declined to release details about what was discovered in the package.
