Legal mail remains one of the most exploited avenues for introducing drug-soaked paper into facilities. MailSecur® allows officers to screen envelopes, manila packets, and legal correspondence with real-time 4D imaging that reveals irregular densities, tampering, layered materials, and hidden contraband without violating privacy protections.
Detecting Contraband in Books & Publications
Books create large blind spots — thick bindings, glued spines, hollowed-out compartments. MailSecur® screens these items safely and quickly, detecting hidden threats such as drug-impregnated pages, weapon components, concealed electronics, and contraband embedded deep within spines or covers.
Housing Unit & Cell Search Support
Officers can detect concealed threats inside containers, hygiene items, paperwork, food packets, and more — all in seconds. MailSecur® can be used as a portable, rapid screening tool during searches of stored personal property, commissary items, targeted sweeps, and intelligence-driven inspections.
Intake & Personal Property Screening
Smuggled items frequently appear during booking, intake, and property transfer. MailSecur® helps detect concealed contraband inside clothing, footwear, wallets, bags, small containers, personal mail, and hygiene items.
